about the role
The Plug is a wellness beverage brand that started as a recovery drink for younger audiences but later shifted toward a more holistic identity aimed at older, health-conscious consumers. This transition brought a change in tone and visuals as the company redefined its place in the wellness space. As a growing brand, The Plug was still shaping its visual identity, making it an exciting time to contribute creatively.
As a Graphic Design Marketing Intern, I worked with a small team of interns in two-week design cycles. We focused primarily on Instagram posts and stories, submitting drafts to our design lead, Christian, in the first week and finalizing assets in the second week. With the brand in transition, we explored different visual styles while still aligning with The Plug’s existing look and feel.

PRODUCT ANIMATION
This product animation was created as a branded concept for The Plug Drink, combining 3D motion and visual storytelling to elevate the product’s wellness-forward identity. The wide, landscape framing and low-angle composition were designed to position the bottle as the focal point, while leaving negative space for adaptable use in campaigns or digital ads. Floating bubbles and subtle reflections bring a sense of hydration and clarity, aligning with the brand’s clean, plant-based message. This piece allowed me to experiment with product animation while considering real-world marketing applications like social content, hero banners, and motion graphics integration.
