ABOUT THE PROJECT
As a freelance web designer, I created the website for Peak Properties NC to reflect the brand’s professional and client-first approach. While building the site on Wix, I also implemented custom HTTPS coding to support the advanced features the client needed. I focused on clean design, mobile responsiveness, and intuitive navigation, while incorporating SEO best practices to help drive traffic and generate leads. The final product delivers a seamless and interactive user experience tailored to the real estate market.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Designing the Peak Properties NC website began with understanding both the client’s goals and the user journey. Real estate involves complex terms and processes, so I focused on simplifying the experience while keeping the content professional and informative. The layout was built for clarity, with sections that guide users naturally. I kept the visual design clean but aligned with the brand’s personality. Each element was intentional, aiming to build trust and create a site that feels accessible and cohesive.

Custom Integration for Cleaner UX
While working on this section, I encountered a limitation with Wix’s embed feature. It pulled in an entire external website, even though I only needed to display a specific section. Without access to the source code of the external site, I had to find a workaround that prioritized both usability and visual consistency. I adjusted the layout and used custom HTTPS-based configurations to focus the view on the intended content. This kept the embedded feature functional, clean, and aligned with the overall user experience. The solution reflects my ability to adapt within platform constraints while keeping the user’s needs at the center of the design.
